Daniel Bartholomew-Poyser will lead Symphony Nova Scotia in a series of free concerts to help kick-off its 2019-2020 season.

One of Symphony Nova Scotia’s favourite family shows returns with some all-new symphonic sounds.

Led by Artist in Residence and Community Ambassador Daniel Bartholomew-Poyser, Black Is Beautiful showcases an incredible variety of Black performers and composers.

Hear music from icons such as Duke Ellington, Jimi Hendrix, Bob Marley, Beyoncé, and more – including a few surprises – as we share western Black music’s story of struggle and celebrationymss

Saturday, February 15 at 3 pm – Black Cultural Centre for Nova Scotia, Cherry Brook
Sunday, February 16 at 1:30 & 3 pm – Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21, Halifax
