Experience the exciting roots and rhythms of tap dance music in this free Family Series concert.
This performance will be led by Symphony Nova Scotia’s dynamic and engaging Artist in Residence & Community Ambassador Daniel Bartholomew-Poyser. Plus, we welcome one of Canada’s leading tap dancers MacKenzie Greenwell to perform with the orchestra.
Dance along to music by Handel, Mozart, Leroy Andersen, Miles Davis, Radiohead, and more! Come join us for these fun and celebratory concerts, and get ready to dance.
Our family shows are designed to be participatory and informal. We welcome children on the autism spectrum and their parents, and we encourage children to be active and involved in our orchestral concerts. Vocalizations, movements, and taking breaks are all part of the fun!
