One of Canada’s finest chamber ensembles, the Penderecki Quartet, opens the Scotia Festival of Music’s Music Room Chamber Players Series season, making its first appearance in Nova Scotia since 2010. They bring us a mix of classics and Canadian works, including a late work by Murray Schafer, written as the composer grappled with the onset of dementia.
