Experience the remarkable artistry of American pianist Henry Kramer, known for his captivating performances, expressive musicianship, and deep understanding of the classical repertoire.
Here he masterfully interprets a rich and diverse program that traverses a wide range of emotions and styles, from the charming and graceful to the powerful and impassioned. This program features performances of Franz Schubert’s enchanting Piano Sonata in A Major, as well as his intense, dramatic, and technically demanding Sonata in B Minor, and the virtuosic brilliance of two Schubert’s works, arranged by Franz Liszt, “Auf dem Wasser zu singen,” and “Der Doppelgänger.” Also featured are the evocative and rarely heard 4 Lieder for Piano by Fanny Mendelssohn Hensel and the lyrically beautiful “Songs Without Words” from Felix Mendelssohn.
The prize-winning pianist Henry Kramer is a musician of rare sensitivity who combines stylish programming with insightful and exuberant interpretations.
