Escape the February frost and let the award-winning duo Champagne Weather warm your spirit with their evocative blend of folk, classical, improvisational, and minimalistic soundscapes.

Canadian Folk Music Award-winners and Juno nominees James Hill and Anne Janelle bridge worlds with music that evokes Philip Glass and Steve Reich while echoing Appalachian fiddle and Maritime folksong. With cello, ukulele, fiddle, and voices sparkling like a field of stars, they create music that floats in a dreamy twilight of sound—ever-changing and alive. Their songs are rich with imagery, crafting intimate worlds that invite listeners to step inside and explore. Loved by audiences worldwide, their performances offer a chance to reflect, connect, and be transformed.

This inclusive performance, hosted and accompanied by pianist Jennifer King, is part of our Sensory-Accessible Concerts series and co-presented with the Halifax Central Library. It promises an unforgettable musical experience.
