Maritime Concert Opera presents Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro (The Marriage of Figaro) at St. David’s Church in Halifax on June 21, 2025, sung in Italian with projected English translations.

The opera revolves around the wedding of servants Figaro and Susanna and their attempts to thwart the Count’s infidelity. The plot is filled with mistaken identities, disguises, and comedic situations as Figaro and Susanna, with help from the Countess, outsmart the Count’s philandering ways. All ends happily, if somewhat improbably.
