Event Details
Based on the beautifully illustrated book of the same name by Jon J. Muth, and brought to life through expressive contemporary dance, imaginative scenery, shadow puppetry, and sensitive narration, The Three Questions is the story of a child’s journey to do good in this world, with the help of friends Heron, Monkey, and Dog.
When is the right time to do things?
What is the right thing to do?
Who is the most important one?
Determined to help their friend answer these three important questions, Heron, Monkey, and Dog embark on a journey that takes them up the mountain to consult with wise Turtle, who will surely have the answers. Through the adventures of their animal friends (are they real or imagined?), the child discovers the answers for himself.
This beautifully staged dance production explores compassion and living in the moment.
The show is 45 minutes long, plus a post-show Q&A and creative activities with the artists.
All shows include accessibility considerations such as noise-cancelling headphones, a mat area as an alternative to chairs, and tactile props to handle.
