Event Details
Prix Goyer-winning pianist Philip Chiu is joined by cellist and Radio-Canada Classical Revelation Artist Cameron Crozman, as well as violinist and Orchestre de l’Agora concertmaster Chloé Chabanole, for this not-to-be-missed springtime concert celebrating the piano trio in all of its forms.
With a natural synergy and communicative ease, anchored by a shared artistic vision, these three phenomenal artists have imagined a bold program of virtuosity, nuance, and poise exploring the nobility and playfulness of Joseph Haydn and his Piano Trio No. 43 in C major, Hob. XV:27, the dark and dramatic sounds of Johannes Brahms’ Piano Trio No. 3 in C minor, Op. 101, and the colourful and energetic music of Pulitzer Prize and three-time Grammy Award-winning American composer Jennifer Higdon and her Piano Trio No. 1.
