Wildhood scores a quartet of awards at this year’s FIN Atlantic International Film Festival

Bretten Hannam’s coming-of-age tale walked away with awards for screenwriting, acting, directing and best feature film.

Following what organizers call a “highly successful move back into theatres” for this year’s hybrid FIN Atlantic International Film Festival, the festival has announced the winners of the 2021 Atlantic Awards.

Chosen by a jury of Atlantic film professionals, it was Bretten Hannam’s coming-of-age tale Wildhood that walked away with a quartet of awards including screenwriting, acting, directing and best feature film.

Seth A Smith’s dystopian sci-fi thriller Tin Can took home two awards, including original score and cinematography.

Best Atlantic Short Documentary
Winner: Nalujuk Night, directed by Jennie Williams and produced by Latonia Hartery, Kat Baulu & Rohan Fernando

Best Atlantic Director
