Tell us about Orpheus’ Descent.

In Orpheus’ Descent, two Canadian soldiers sit in a trench dugout during the 2nd Battle of Ypres, WW1. As they wait, an unexpected threat approaches.

Describe your show in three words.

Short and sweet.

Why should someone come see your show?

It’s an honest and abstract exploration into a relationship, set at a key point in Canadian history. It was created by a group of friends who want nothing more than to put on a great show.

If your show was a superhero which superhero would it be, and why?

Wonder Woman. Similar themes, same war, sweet costumes (provided by Nova Scotia International Tattoo).

If you could see only one show at the Halifax Fringe Festival this year, besides your own, what show would that be?

Mercury. We would watch anything Colleen MacIsaac has made.
