Halifax Presents returned Live at The Carleton in our continuing live online music series as we welcomed Braden Lam on April 26.

Blending authentic songwriting with modern indie flare, Braden Lam is forging the path to a new 21st-century folk-pop. His sophomore EP Driftwood People, an intimate look at the social disconnect of life on the road and the reconciliation of lost relationships, was nominated for Music Nova Scotia’s Folk Recording of the Year in 2019 and a winner of a SOCAN Foundation songwriting award.

Usually performing with bandmembers Nick Pothier (bass), Jonathan MacKenzie (keys), and Aaron Hillier (drums), during this time of social distancing, Braden performs solo as part of our Live at The Carleton series.
