The Argyle Street Kitchen Party returns this summer to Neptune Theatre’s Fountain Hall stage in downtown Halifax from August 15-27.
Conceived and created by Ian Sherwood and Neptune’s artistic director, Jeremy Webb, this annual tradition of quintessential Maritime music and hospitality features a core cast of East Coasters – Karen Lizotte, Malia Rogers, Dominique LeBlanc and Sherwood – alongside some special guests.
Here are the five guest performers who will join the show for this “sociable” night out:
1Award-winning solo singer-songwriter, musician and member of folk music family group The Rankin Family, Jimmy Rankin joins the cast on August 15 & 20.

2East Coast singer-songwriter and instrumentalist Lennie Gallant joins the party for two performances on August 16 & 17.

3For one night only, award-winning comedian, actress, and writer Bette MacDonald performs on August 18.

4Also stopping by for a one-night appearance on August 19 with the sociable gang is Canadian roots/rock singer and songwriter Christina Martin.

5Juno Award-nominee songwriter and singer, and another member of The Rankin Family, Heather Rankin, takes up residence in the kitchen for five performances from August 22-27.
