Handel’s Water Music is one of the Baroque era’s smash hits—a festive, jolly masterpiece that has been beloved by audiences ever since its royal riverboat premiere 300 years ago.
Now, hear its bright, open-air sound and toe-tapping tunes – including its signature, sailor-inspired Alla Hornpipe – with the Symphony and our very own Principal Baroque Leader Julia Wedman.
And joining us for only his second Canadian performance, South American superstar male soprano Samuel Mariño delights with his unique vocal talent and dazzling stage presence.
