Halifax Presents was Live at The Carleton in our continuing live online music series as we welcomed Laura Caswell on May 27.
Laura is an actor, singer, playwright and educator who has performed in musicals and cabarets across Canada. Halifax audiences will recognize her from her appearances in over a dozen shows at Neptune Theatre including Into the Woods, Sweeney Todd and her Merritt-nominated performance in Mary Poppins.
As a playwright herself, Laura has written the one-woman show Becoming Carol and How to Clean Your Fridge and Other Life Lessons. A member of the Diva Station Trio, she also a co-producer and cultivator of Open Stage Halifax.
When she is not on stage, Laura is an educator at the Neptune Theatre School and Fountain School of the Performing Arts.
