Watch: Live at The Carleton with Roxy Mercier and Jacob Strang

The Halifax musicians continue our special Facebook Live series

Halifax Presents was Live at The Carleton in our continuing live online music series as we welcomed Roxy Mercier and Jacob Strang on May 16.

Roxy Mercier is the lead singer for the soul-funk band, Roxy & The Underground Soul Sound The award-winning Halifax group channels classic soul and funk in their infectious original material. The band’s 2019 album “Stand Up” continues to make waves across the country and beyond.

Jacob Strang is a Halifax singer and guitarist with an appreciation for a high energy live show. Usually found fronting The Carleton’s house band, The Carleton Collective, Jacob currently has a self-titled album out with a new release on the way in the coming months.
