Watch: Live at the Carleton with Tevon Tynes

The Halifax singer-songwriter continues our special Facebook Live series

Halifax Presents returned Live at The Carleton in our continuing live online music series as we welcomed Tevon Tynes on May 2.

Halifax born musician Tevon Tynes studied music in Nova Scotia’s Annapolis Valley before moving to Toronto for three years. Returning to Halifax last year, he recruited Mathew Elliott and Michael Arbou to form the Tevon Tynes Trio. A cover band with a small roster and a big sound looking to bring their spicy yet tender flavour of funk, soul, pop, and R&B to Halifax’s live music scene.

Please note that due to physical distancing guidelines, for this performance, Tevon performs solo. The sound echo in the first few minutes of the live video is fixed at the five-minute mark.
