In 2024, Mark celebrated 25 years as an arts writer. During that time he has seen and reviewed hundreds of theatre performances and written about countless more. He has written professionally for both
Xtra, and an international trade magazine. He is also contributing editor of
Vancouver Presents. No stranger to the stage, Mark has been both an actor and director. He even won an acting award once. He is a past jury member for the Critics Choice Innovation Award for The Jessies, Vancouver's professional theatre award. He and his partner David are West Coast transplants who now call Halifax home along with their
