After a successful return to the big screen with in-person screenings and events over its eight days, the FIN Atlantic International Film Festival announced its 2022 award winners as selected by a jury of Atlantic Canadian film professionals.
This year’s big winner is Ashley McKenzie’s Queens of the Qing Dynasty, the story of a troubled neurodiverse teen hospitalized following a suicide attempt and the genderqueer hospital volunteer who bond over their shared uncertainties about their futures.
