In partnership with Evergreen Festival, Halifax Jazz Festival brings music to the Halifax waterfront this holiday season with its Evergreen Stage Series.
Bundle up and enjoy some of your favourite local bands and musicians this holiday season.
Taking place at its new location on the Foundation Wharf, next to the Salt Yard and Halifax Beer Market on the Halifax waterfront, the series will run over four weekends from November 25 through December 18 with over 40 live performances.
The free, family-friendly event features award-winning artists and community groups, including Slowcoaster, John Gracie Christmas, Zamani, Owen O’Sound Lee, Choirs for Change, Braden Lam, JMC Big Band, NSCC Music Arts Choir and more.
All performances run on Fridays from 5-9 pm, Saturdays from 1-9 pm and Sundays from 1-4 pm, with seating available on a first-come-first-served basis. Guests can also reserve a seat overlooking the stage at The BG – Halifax Beer Garden on Friday and Saturday evenings.
The Evergreen Stage Series is part of the annual Evergreen Festival, a free, four-week outdoor winter-themed showcase of Nova Scotian culture, food, spirits, art, and celebration of the holiday season.
