Junofest to feature over 100 artists at venues throughout Halifax and Dartmouth

Over 100 artists from across Canada will take to local stages on March 23 & 24.

As Halifax gets ready to host this year’s Juno Awards on March 24, over 100 artists from across Canada will take to stages throughout Halifax and Dartmouth on March 23 & 24.

Music fans will be able to catch the acts, including 2024 Juno Award nominees, on local stages that include Hide + Seek, Pacifico, Rox Live, Sanctuary Arts Centre, St. Matthew’s United Church, The Carleton, The Local, The Loft, The Marquee Ballroom and The Seahorse Tavern.

The first round of performers announced includes Bambii, Begonia with special guest Leith Ross, Dave Sampson, Good Lovelies, Haviah Mighty, Jah’Mila, Logan Staats, Mistress Barbara, Myst Milano, Quake Matthews, Rêve, Shawnee Kish, Skratch Bastid, Softcult, The East Pointers, and TOBi.

“It’s amazing to see the first crop of artists representing so many genres of music,” says Allegra Swanson, chair of the 2024 Halifax Juno Host Committee. “Junofest will light up the city with local musicians from Nova Scotia and across the Atlantic region alongside myriad national acts on every stage and showcase the incredible talent of this community to fans and industry alike.”
