The Royal Nova Scotia International Tattoo expands with music series

The Tattoo Festival Club will feature a series of musical concerts at the newly opened Light House Arts Centre in Halifax.

The Royal Nova Scotia International Tattoo is expanding its offerings in 2022.

In addition to the eight live and opening night live-streamed performances of this year’s Royal Nova Scotia International Tattoo from June 25 through July 2 at the Scotiabank Centre, organizers will launch the Garrison Brewing’s Tattoo Festival Club with a series of musical concerts at the newly opened Light House Arts Centre.

“The Tattoo Festival Club at the Light House, Halifax’s newest live performance venue, will showcase top Nova Scotian talent and expand the Tattoo festival offering,” says Scott Long, managing director and executive producer of the Tattoo. “The Tattoo Festival Club will provide an after-show party environment for Tattoo fans and the general public alike.”

The inaugural show on June 29 will feature world-renowned fiddler Ashley MacIsaac and the sibling contemporary folk trio, The Gilberts.

Roxy and the Underground Soul Sound and Casual Cries For Help will perform on June 30, and the Carson Downey Band and HubTown Big Band will close out the Festival Club on July 2.

Tickets for all Tattoo Festival Club shows are now available online. However, patrons who have purchased tickets to the June 29, June 30 and July 2 Tattoos will get in for free, subject to capacity.
